Through grant donations and fund raising we’ve been able to refurbish and design our very own Sensory Room!
The cabin was developed over the course of many months, and given a new look inside and out. Some of the young people we support helped with the build of the sensory room and one has gone on to do a carpentry apprenticeship.
More children that access the farm were involved in designing the interior space, and planning and developing the accessible exterior entryway.
The children and young people involved in this project have enjoyed the
opportunity to take ownership and responsibility for something that has become important to their daily activities on the farm.
