Care Farm in North Devon
Lambing season has officially wrapped up with Mart Lambing season has officially wrapped up with Martha and Gertie! Gertie's little ram lamb Cosmo is a firecracker, pure menace running circles around the hay feeder shortly after being born. Martha's ewe lamb, on the other hand, had some interesting developmental choices - we're talking giraffe-length legs! It's been a lovely ride, and we're looking forward to catching up with those on the waiting list for lambs soon. But first, snoozies πŸ₯±.

It’s been lovely to welcome the arrival of our lam It’s been lovely to welcome the arrival of our lambs in the last 24hrs, but these girls sure got it all misaligned on the weather front. After a full week of sunshine and moderate warmth, they decided that the hail, rain, wind and cold would be far more fun conditions to start dropping their babies. This means mothers and babies will spend a few extra days in full board accommodation in the barn, and no one has ever complained about a barn full of tiny lambs, so all is well in the world. 😍

The Big Barn is the centre of attention at the far The Big Barn is the centre of attention at the farm this week, with the arrival of our two new residents. Meet Crash and Eddie, who joined Ollie our resident ferret, and have quickly become firm favourites with many of the farm attendees and staff. Introductions between these three will be slow to give them a greater chance of bonding. 🀞🏽

We are so proud of our little team for working together over the last few weeks to rebuild the roof, creating something much stronger and better than before. We have some final finishing you touches to do before the goats can move back in really soon. A huge thanks also goes to @southwestfixings for their unwavering support.
