Therapy Referral Form
Criteria for participants
Apple Tree Farm placements are suitable for children and young people with a variety of needs and backgrounds such as learning difficulties, brain injuries, autistic spectrum disorders and social, emotional and mental health problems.
People can be referred to us if they are:
- Aged 4-25 years of age
- Able to work alongside other people or work towards this
- Able to get around the farm safely without hurting themselves
- Able to access funding for a placement
- Keen to work outdoors
- Keen to work with animals
Once referrals are received they are assessed within 24 hours and the referrer is contacted to discuss availability and details.
