Drawing and Talking Therapy at Apple Tree Farm

At Apple Tree Farm Services CIC, we offer Drawing and Talking Therapy delivered by fully trained and accredited practitioners who specialise in supporting children and young people’s emotional well being. This gentle, evidence-based approach uses drawing as a way for children to express thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to put into words.

In our calm and nurturing farm environment, children are given the time and space to explore worries, experiences, and emotions safely. Drawing and Talking Therapy can be particularly helpful for children experiencing anxiety, trauma, bereavement, friendship difficulties, or challenges with emotional regulation and school. Sessions are run weekly, for a total of 12 weeks and last 30 minutes each.

Sessions are carefully tailored to each child’s individual needs and are delivered at the child’s own pace. Through creativity, trusted relationships and therapeutic support, we help children build confidence, process difficult experiences, and develop healthier ways of understanding and managing their emotions. Children must be aged five or above.
