Our second week of the HAF Programme was packed full of excitement. This week, for the first time, we have taken groups of children off site to The Waie Inn for a morning of swimming and play, followed by a trip back to the farm on the High Bickington Community bus.
Each day saw children filled with joy to be going swimming and on one trip back a little voice was heard in the back of the bus saying ‘this is my best summer ever!’ It was the perfect week for swimming, this meant we missed a lot of the really intense heat, when we would otherwise have been outside.
Our food hampers this week consisted of a selection of breakfast items and the remainder of items to complete the second recipe card.
